Hi everyone,
How are you all feeling? Have you had a good week or has it been a bit up and down like mine? Is your life beginning to get back to normal as we come out of lockdown or are you feeling uncertain, confused, or maybe a little apprehensive? I think many of us, if we’re honest, could admit to some of those feelings at times!
Well, let’s try to focus our minds for the next few minutes on the one who is our unwavering, unfailing strength and certainty.
Each week as I search on YouTube I come across songs that I haven’t seen before, and this is one from many years ago that I’m sure some of you will remember singing.
Jesus, now more than ever
Our second song, was suggested by Marlene several weeks ago, but in spite of searching, I had been unable to find it until this week. It goes back many years and always reminds me of dear auntie Joy Lacey, as she would often request it.

I’ve chosen this next song because I love the words! They remind us that Jesus can be our strength, our hope, our joy, our peace, our song, our rock, our light… ‘Jesus what a Saviour you are.’ We don’t sing it at Rock Ferry but I hope you can identify with the words and sing out the chorus from your heart!

After the recent Promotion to Glory of Lieutenant Colonel Norman Bearcroft, we’re going to finish with his beautiful arrangement of Albert Orsborn’s words, ‘When shall I come unto the healing waters.’ Let these words speak to your heart as they did to mine.
