HANDS

Over the past year we have heard so much about hands…washing them thoroughly, not shaking hands and slogans like ‘hands, space, face’ but what about the positive messages about hands.
We can use our hands: to pick up the phone and talk to someone who needs a message of encouragement today, to wave at someone, to write to someone and of course to pray.
How do we use our hands? Do we take or give?
We are reminded in the song by Carol Owens (SASB 459) ‘Freely, freely you have received, freely freely give..’ There are so my ways that we can use our hands to help others.
God of course holds us in His hands so we need not be afraid.
What though I cannot know the way that lies before me,
I still can trust and freely follow His commands;
My faith is firm since He it is who watches o’er me;
Of this I’m confident: I’m in His hands. (SASB 848)
Isaiah 41:10 says ‘fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.’
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
May you allow Him to mould you into what He wants you to be.
May you joyfully fill the role he has given to you and feel peace in your soul.
Reach out and trust God today; He holds you in His hands, and He won’t let go.
